Everything I try fails and I get the same error messages. I try to manually install the old drivers but that fails as well. I try to roll back the drivers…Windows won’t allow that either. Keeps failing and I get the same error message. I download drivers from nVidia’s site and try to manually update them…it I try to uninstall it but windows won’t allow that. In device manager it now shows the video card as an “unknown device” without any drivers. Is now at 800 x 600, after I got the BSOD. This is something microsoft invented to take over nVidia drivers / software. So, I go to nVidia’s website and first of all, there’s no such thing as WDDM1.1 as an nVidia update. If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software. The extended attributes are inconsistent. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. Windows encountered a problem installing the driver for your device Every time it starts to install, it fails with an error message 800700FF, saying: I click "install" and the windows' updates work but the nVidia fails.
